What a Show at Hannover Messe!

A special Hannover Messe trade show has come to an end. After two years without any physical contact, we at Yaskawa finally once again got to say: “Welcome back”. Under our brand claim “Shaping the future. Sustainably. Together.”, the many hundreds of visitors to our booth got to experience the future of consistently sustainable automation in all its glory.

Sustainability and digitization – Hannover Messe, the most important industrial trade show in the world, had chosen some weighty topics of focus for its latest edition. And of course, that wasn’t the whole story: the real topic on everyone’s agenda in the halls of the exhibition center was finally getting to meet and talk in person again. After all, around 75,000 visitors turned up.

We didn't get to see everyone, but we managed to welcome several hundred people to the Yaskawa booth in hall 6. Whether people were interested in control platforms, the latest cobots with their own ecosystems or solutions for greater energy efficiency in drive technology: under the brand claim “Shaping the future. Sustainably. Together.”, we presented our sustainability projects there and above all got to show how Yaskawa is covering every aspect of the future of consistently sustainable automation.

The highlights of the fair included:

i³ CONTROL – our brand new automation platform, which we were presenting as a concept for the first time. Ahead of the new additions to the i³ CONTROL portfolio, the first PLC of this new platform – the iC9210-PN – celebrated its premiere.

HC DTP plug&play cobot series and the “ecosYstem” partner product range – they make it easier to build simple cobot installations.

A mobile application with a Motoman HC20 DTP illustrated the broad range of opportunities that the new series provides: The handling cobot was installed on an automated guided vehicle (AGV) from IBG.

With its enhanced functions, the ‘Singular Control’ solution enables robots, servo drives, inverter drives and I/O systems to be controlled using a single controller.

The CR700 inverter ensures “intelligent” load handling for particularly safe and efficient crane operation.

Visitors were able to see practical examples of what sustainability means in terms of automation by learning about a number of energy efficiency projects currently underway, such as electric drive solutions for the marine sector based on permanent magnet motors and generators.

Goodbye, Hanover – welcome to Nuremberg

We at Yaskawa can look back on the Hannover Messe trade show with much excitement and no little pride – four days full of good conversations, forward-looking ideas and, above all, personal contact. Thanks for that!

Our trade fair video can give you a taste of it.

We are looking forward to seeing you at the next shows already: Fachpack (27-29 September) and sps 2022 in Nuremberg begins on November 8 – Yaskawa will definitely be there and hopefully so will you (once again)!
