10th edition of our European Engineers Conference [EEC]

This year was no exception, and in February 2021 we organized the 10th edition of the European Engineers Conference [EEC]. Despite not having the possibility to conduct the event in person, more than 50 Yaskawa engineers from all over Europe were able to join.

Among the presentations we could see Italian Piadine being processed by delta robots, woodworking spindles being run by Yaskawa drives, efficiency measurements of synchronous reluctance motors with the GA700, and a large construction crane with the slewing axis controlled by a Yaskawa algorithm. Additionally, the Product Promotion team presented interesting information about upcoming product variants and options. People new to Yaskawa (like Peter Finch from YEUK), introduced themselves and received a warm welcome from all colleagues.
It is essential for Yaskawa engineers in Europe to share both challenges and breakthroughs among people in comparable situations, for engineers in front of the machine to have a basket of solutions available. Through events such as this, engineers can build the foundation for delivering inspiring results in a faster, more consistent, more efficient and more profitable way.
The feedback received after the event shows we are on the right path, creating opportunities to exchange information and cultivate networking within the growing Yaskawa family. We look forward to the next edition of the EEC in Summer 2021!
