Motoman MH215II and MH250II handling robots - Proven quality with new functions

The 6-axis robot of the Motoman MH series distinguishes itself by a high payload and working precision with a small footprint and shortened cycle times. Thanks to an innovative vibration control system, the increased axis speed and inherent rigidity of the gears of the new Motoman MH215II and MH250II models can be used to achieve a remarkably high acceleration rate in short movements. Despite the reduced cycle times, the repeat accuracy of both models remains constant at 0.2 mm. With their compact design, the robots can handle a maximum payload of 215 and 250 kg and a broad working range of 2912 and 2710 mm.
DX200 robot controller
The new Motoman robots are controlled by the DX200 robot controller. In addition to all the advantages of the extremely successful predecessor model DX100, they offer new functions and function packages to further facilitate the application-specific solution and programming of robotic tasks. For example, with the establishment of up to 32 safety zones and 18 tools smaller working ranges are possible and optimum use is made of the available space. Further new features of the DX200 are the simplified integration of peripheral devices and synchronous cooperation of up to eight robots or 72 axes.
Profinet interface MotoLogix
Via the Profinet MotoLogix S7-1500 interface robots such as the Motoman MH215II and MH250II models can for the first time be programmed and controlled not only via the Ethernet/IP and Powerlink platforms, but also with Profinet for Siemens environments. Motoman handling robots can be programmed and controlled via the Profinet interface directly in the Siemens TIA portal. An in-depth knowledge of robots is no longer necessary. All Motoman robots with the DX200 controller can be simply and easily integrated into complex systems.
