Main Motion APIs

A wide selection of motion APIs is available so your machine can work with the personal computer. Motion commands can be put in from either the personal computer or the MP2100.

Motion control from PC for applications using large capacity programs

Applications:
Semiconductor equipment, bonders, inspecting units, parts assembling machines, and other similar applications.

Motion related API

• Device related: Servo ON/OFF
• JOG feed, origin return, positioning, external positioning and specified time positioning
• Interpolation: Linear interpolation, circular interpolation, and helical interpolation

Motion Control from MP2100

MP2100 can read and write data/programs on the personal computer by using the system API. (Note: For high-speed, synchronous processing for electronic shaft and cam or other applications)

Applications
Coil winding, capacitor winding and injection molding machines or similar applications.

• Register operation: I/O operation
• Alarm: Information acquisition and alarm clearing
• System operation: Opening: closing, and switching of object controller

24 Modules in 3 Racks with the MP2100MEX on the MP2100M

The MP2100MEX is an I/F board that can expand the number of racks for the MP2100M. Installing a MP2100M module with an attached MP2100MEX board enables to connect a PC to 3 racks of max. MP2200 base units, which can contain an additional 24 modules.
